Windsor RCMP on scene of a serious motorcycle crash
At approximately 4:33 p.m. a passing motorist notified police of a motorcycle failing to make a corner on Hwy. 1 near Lighthouse Rd. in Mount Denson. The RCMP, Fire and EHS attended the scene and found a single motorcycle with lone rider involved in the crash.
An adult male was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. A collision re-constructionist is attending the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
Highway 1 is closed in both directions near the scene and is expected to remain closed until late tonight. Traffic is being detoured at Exit 8 Connector Rd. and Bog Rd.
