Police investigate robbery
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred earlier this week in Halifax.
On March 4 at approximately 10:05 p.m., officers responded to a report of a man with a knife in the 2300 block of Hunter Street in Halifax. Two people were walking to their vehicle when they were approached by two men not known to them. One of the men demanded their keys, assaulted one of the victims, and then produced a knife as the fight continued. The victims were able to fight the man off and both suspects fled the area in a different vehicle.
There were no reported physical injuries during the incident.
One suspect is described as a man, approximately 5’7”, dressed in all black with a black hat. The second suspect is described as approximately 5’11”, wearing a black leather jacket and a grey hoodie with the hood up and pulled tight around his face.
The suspects fled the scene in a black Volkswagen Jetta with tinted windows and a Nova Scotia license plate attached to the back.
