Road Closure – Victoria Road
Location: Victoria Road, between Woodland Avenue and Boland Road, and between Nantucket Avenue and Thistle Street
Date: Saturday, March 1
Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Woodland Avenue to Boland Road closed 8 a.m. – 2 p.m., Nantucket Avenue to Thistle Street closed 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.)
Work details: This is required for tree trimming work.
Traffic impact: A signed detour will be in place while work is underway. Traffic control personnel will be on-site. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to use alternative routes wherever possible.

NEW WORK

LUNENBURG COUNTY: Meisner Bridge, Meisners Section
The Meisner Bridge on Highway 10 will be closed to trucks heavier than five tonnes during the day from Monday, March 3, until Friday, March 7. The weight restriction is necessary to conduct testing on the underside of the bridge.
The detour is via Ridge Road, Camel Hill Road (gravel), Cherryfield Road and North River Road. There will be message boards advising drivers of the weight restriction.
Work takes place from sunrise to sunset. The weight restriction is for daytime only.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Donaldson Bridge, French River
The Donaldson Bridge on Lake Road, about three kilometres west of Tatamagouche, is closed until further notice.
The detours are Trout Brook Road and Cooper Road.

COLCHESTER COUNTY: Slade Road, Tatamagouche
Slade Road is closed between Lake Road and West Tatamagouche Road until further notice because of a bridge closure.

RICHMOND COUNTY: Port Royal Bridge, Isle Madame
The Port Royal Bridge on Port Royal Road is closed until further notice. A detour is in place on MacEachern Road.

YARMOUTH COUNTY: Pembroke Bridge, Yarmouth
Pembroke Bridge on Pembroke Road will be closed for replacement until Sunday, August 31.
Detour signs are in place.
