In photos – The East Coast Credit Union Ice Festival in downtown Dartmouth brought some cool sites to the delight of many
As the annual ice festival came to life, the area filled with curious onlookers as blocks of ice became incredible sculptures right before your very eyes!
Chainsaws and chippers were used as surgical tools in the hands of the carvers as they brought various sculptures to life, such as feathered birds and more.
Entertainment and music kept the crowd flowing with jugglers, cool science displays, curling and more, spread out along the venue.
The sculptures remain on display after the event is over.
They are along downtown Portland St, parts of Ochterloney St, and Alderney Landing. And events also continue on Sunday!
We are already looking forward to next years event!
