Traffic Delay – Lucasville Road
Location: Lucasville Road at the bridge over the Sackville River
Date: Monday, May 6 until early 2025
Time: 24/7
Work details: This work is to facilitate the rehabilitation of the Lucasville Bridge. This is in support of the 2021-25 Regional Council Strategic Priorities Plan to establish a safe and accessible integrated mobility network.
Traffic impact: Temporary traffic signals will be installed to control traffic flow through the work site as work progresses on the Lucasville Bridge rehabilitation project. Motorists should expect delays and are asked to take alternative routes whenever possible.

Traffic Delay – Bedford Highway
Location: Bedford Highway, between Tremont Drive & Kearney Lake Road
Date: Friday, Dec. 20
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work details: This work is to replace the communications antenna mounted on a utility pole.
Traffic impact: A lane drop will be in place near Bedford Highway civic #310. Two-way traffic to be maintained at all times

Traffic Delay – Jubilee Road
Location: Jubilee Road between Edward and Robie streets
Date: Wednesday, Dec. 11 to Friday, Dec. 20
Time: 24/7
Work details: This work is to support the Halifax Infirmary Expansion Project.
Traffic impact: The westbound lane will be closed. The southbound right turn lane at the intersection of Jubilee Road and Robie Street will be closed. Drivers should expect delays and use alternative routes where possible.

Traffic Delay – Flamingo Drive
Location: 8 Flamingo Drive to 12 Flamingo Drive
Date: Tuesday, Dec. 3 to Tuesday, Dec. 24 (weekdays only)
Time: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Work details: This work is for natural gas pipeline installation and street restoration.
Traffic impact: There will be a lane closure with stop-and-go traffic. There will be a sidewalk closure with a temporary sidewalk to maintain access for pedestrians. Motorists should expect delays and take alternative routes.
