Recovered stolen motor vehicle
On November 24 at approximately 8 a.m., police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the 900 block of Greenwood Avenue in Halifax. On November 29 at approximately 6:40 a.m., officers located the stolen vehicle in a parking lot in the 50 block of Manor Lane in Halifax. Officers located and arrested a man inside the vehicle.
The 40-year-old man was held for court to face the following charges:
- Possession of stolen goods over $5000
- Failure to comply with conditions of release order
- Possession of housebreaking tools
