Community Polls Begin Today
Community polls open today, Saturday, November 9, 2024, across the province for early voting. Community polls will be open in various electoral districts Mondays to Saturdays, from 9 am – 6 pm for two weeks (until Saturday November 23).
During the early voting period, voters can vote anywhere in Nova Scotia, not just in their electoral district.
Voters can find an early voting location close to them by calling their returning office, calling the public call centre at 1-800-565-1504, or entering their address in the ‘where do I vote’ tool on Elections Nova Scotia’s website (electionsnovascotia.ca).
Advance polls will begin on Saturday, November 16 and run until Saturday November 23.
Returning Offices are also open for early voting from Mondays to Saturdays, 9 am – 6 pm.
Voting is closed on Sundays.
There will be extended hours until 8 pm on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22 for early voting at all early voting locations.
Please note: Early voting locations will have a delayed opening on November 11th in recognition of Remembrance Day. Returning offices across the province, as well as community polls that will be operational in designated electoral districts, will be open to the public for early voting on Monday, November 11th from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
On election day, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, voters may vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office in their electoral district. Voting will be open from 8 am – 8 pm on election day.
Voters in Nova Scotia that have questions about the provincial general election can call 1-800-565-1504.
