Missing person: Help the RCMP find David MacDonald

​Update: Missing person located

The 43-year-old who was reported missing from​ Waterville on September​ 3​ has been located and is safe.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media.

Kings District RCMP is asking for assistance from the public to locate 43-year-old David MacDonald of Waterville. MacDonald​ left his home in Waterville on August 31, and​ was last seen at the New Minas Big Stop at around 6 p.m. that day.​ His current whereabouts are not known however he is known to hitch hike and may be headed to Halifax.​

David MacDonald is described as​ white, 5-foot-9​ tall and​ 130 pounds. When last seen, he was​ wearing a dark hoodie, dark jeans and purple Croc shoes.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.

Police are concerned for David MacDonald’s safety. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of David MacDonald is asked to contact Kings District RCMP at 902-765-3317 or 1-800-803-RCMP (7267).
