Truro Police Service investigate stabbing
On August 24th, 2024, at approximately 3:05 AM, the Truro Police Service responded to a complaint of a woman being stabbed in the area of downtown Truro.
The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A 22 year old female was arrested soon after the incident and has been charged with attempted murder and remanded into custody.
Our investigation has determined that the victim and accused were known to each other.
The name of the accused has been withheld until they appear in court Monday August 26th.
