Nova Scotia Health is making changes to parking and the main entrance of the QEII
Halifax Infirmary Starting August 26

-The main entrance to the QEII Halifax Infirmary will be on Summer Street. Parking for patients and visitors will be at the Summer St. parkade, as the Robie St. parkade is scheduled for demolition this Fall.

-Patients and visitors will no longer have access to the Robie St. parkade or the
Halifax Infirmary via the Robie St. entrance.

-The building entrance to the Emergency Department will not change, but a new, temporary driveway for the drop-off and ED parking is shifting slightly north on Robie St. Overflow parking will now be at the Summer St. parkade.

Please note: Bell Rd. between Summer St. and Robie St. will reopen in early September.

These changes at the QEII Halifax Infirmary are an essential part of preparations for the construction of the new acute care tower, which will feature 216 beds, 16
operating rooms, an intensive care unit and a new, larger emergency department.
