In photos – Despite the ominous forecast, the downtown Dartmouth Open Street event saw a great turn out!
The weather seemed to cooperate for the annual Open Street event in Dartmouth earlier today.
With tons of vendors, food, entertainment and games, people mingled down the downtown Portland Street into Alderney park.
Music came from DJs and a roaming band and pirates were seen lurking on the streets and at a shifty camp, with canons and flags in the wind. Some booths provided information, such as a Canadian Blood Services booth and an ocean awareness display, complete with starfish.
Overall, the event brightened up a gray Sunday for many.
