Many turtles in Nova Scotia are considered a species at risk.
Turtles next near the exact spot they were hatched, sometimes making treacherous journies to get back to their nesting spots, but with city expansion, pollution and other factors, nesting sites are in danger in many places.
If you see turtles in your area, report them to the Nova Scotia Turtle Patrol on Facebook here

Turtles in danger can be reported to both the Turtle Patrol and Hope for Wildlife
