Meteghan RCMP Detachment is investigating the theft of an orange Wood-Mizer saw mill and trailer.

The items were stolen on April 4, 2024 between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. from St Mary’s Bay Academy on Hwy. 1 in Weymouth. A blue/grey pickup truck was captured on video at the scene. Three people exited the truck, proceeded to cut the chains and locks, hitched the trailer, and towed the saw mill away.

The saw mill is valued at approximately $14,000.
