All schools in the Halifax Regional Centre for Education are closed today, Monday, January 29, 2024.
High School exams scheduled for today will be written tomorrow, Tuesday, January 30, 2024.
Today’s decision was based on the following information:
- Forecast calling for up to 17 cm of snow by dismissal; and
- Due to timing and accumulation of snow, road conditions and visibility are expected to be poor throughout the day.
