ICE FESTIVAL WEEKEND
The Downtown Dartmouth Ice Festival presented by East Coast Credit Union is NEXT WEEKEND!
Friday the 26, Saturday the 27, and Sunday the 28 are going to be filled with fun!
We kick things off on Friday with an Ice Carving Workshop, live ice carving at the MacLeod Lorway Insurance Group Sculpture Garden & in King’s Wharf, and O’Regan’s Ice Festival Stages.
Saturday is our Ice Festival Street Party where Portland Street from Alderney to Victoria will be closed to traffic. The waterfront, Portland Street and East Coast Credit Union (155 Ochterloney Street) will have live ice carving. Plus lots more fun around!
Saturday evening will bring lots of music in different venues downtown as a part of O’Regan’s Ice Festival Stages.
Sunday wraps things up with another chance to meet Elmo & Cookie Monster, try out street curling and hang out in the Decathlon Fun Zone. New this year, the Alderney Gate Public Library will be showing Frozen (a special Ice Princess will be dropping by too!)
Sunday also provides a fantastic opportunity to check out all of the ice sculptures downtown in a quieter environment.
