Police investigate robbery
Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth last night.
At approximately 11:45 p.m. officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Shoppers Drug Mart located at 80 Tacoma Drive. A man entered the store and broke into a locked cabinet containing fragrance products. The man assaulted an employee when they approached him, and then he fled the area on foot with the merchandise. The employee was not physically injured.
The suspect is described as a white man wearing a balaclava, black sneakers, grey winter jacket, and dark blue jeans carrying a camouflage backpack.
