**** Truro Police Release
On December 20, the Truro Police Service patrol section responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian on Walker St. in Truro
Officers determined that this incident was domestic violence related and a 62-year-old male from Bible Hill was arrested at the scene.
The Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division continued to investigate this incident and charges of attempted murder have been laid against the male.
The identity of the accused is not being released out of respect for the victims privacy.
