Missing man located safe
The 51-year-old man who was reported missing from Yarmouth on December 15 has been located safe.
The man was located safe this afternoon walking along Bonnie Rd., Meteghan, by a motorist. He was transported to hospital by EHS as a precaution.
Yarmouth Ground Search and Rescue (GSAR) volunteers along with RCMP Police Dog Services and RCMP Air Services joined together in the search for the man throughout this weekend.
Yarmouth Town RCMP would like to thank all of the GSAR volunteers for their assistance.
Yarmouth Town RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 51-year-old Andrew Dresser. He was last seen leaving his Yarmouth residence at approximately 8 p.m. last night.
Dresser has brown hair and blue eyes. He’s approximately 5-foot-10, 200 pounds. When last seen, he was wearing glasses, a bright blue jacket, a black Under Armour baseball cap, blue jeans, a light grey Under Armour shirt and black-and-white sneakers.
When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those who know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
