Update: Police presence in Dartmouth this morning
Halifax Regional Police were on scene at a residence on Canso Lane earlier this morning in relation to a weapons call.
Investigators found that there was no threat to public safety. Officers are no longer on scene.

Halifax Regional Police are on scene of a residence on Canso Lane in Dartmouth in relation to a weapons call. The residence is contained, and a significant police presence will be in the area.
Police are asking the public to remain away from the area as they conduct the investigation.
