Police search for suspect after gas station robbed in Halifax

At 10:15 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were dispatched to 2616 Robie Street, Halifax, the Shell Gas Station/Needs Convenience Store, for a robbery in progress. Suspect used a firearm in the commission of the offence. No injuries.

Suspect described as a white male, believed to be in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing a grey hoodie, black face mask, and black pants. Suspect took cash from the till. Suspect was last seen leaving the area on foot, heading towards Clifton Street. K9 dispatched to scene.

Multiple police units assisted with scene containment and search of suspect. Suspect not located at this time.
