Colchester County District RCMP seeking public assistance in theft of military medals

Colchester County District RCMP is seeking public assistance in an investigation relating to thefts of military medals.

On September 1, 2023, Colchester County District RCMP received a report of a tote having been stolen during an air show in Debert. RCMP officers learned that the tote had been filled with military medals and had been stolen sometime on August 27. There were approximately 90 medals in total and they were mounted in seven different display frames.

To date investigators have been unsuccessful in generating any leads through traditional investigative efforts and are now seeking assistance from the public.
