Police continue to investigate assault

Police are continuing to investigate an assault that occurred in Dartmouth earlier this month and are releasing photos of the suspects.

On June 15 at approximately 9:10 p.m. police responded to reports of an assault that had occurred at the Sobeys at 210 Wyse Road. A man approached two men who were not known to them and assaulted them. The suspect then fled to a waiting vehicle that was occupied by a man and a woman.

One of the victims was treated at the scene and the second was taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The man who assaulted the victims was described as 20 to 30 years old, approximately 6’ tall, 200 lbs., wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a dark-coloured sweatshirt. The vehicle that the suspects fled the area in is described as a grey/silver Honda Accord.

The incident remains under investigation by members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. Investigators are asking anyone with information in relation to this incident to call 902-490-5020.
