**** Truro Police Release
On March 11 at approximately 3 am, a Truro Police officer on patrol noticed a vehicle parked suspiciously at a business that was closed.
As the officer went to contact the occupants, they fled upon seeing the police.
One occupant was located by officers near the vehicle and the other was tracked by Truro Police Service K9 unit and was apprehended in a wooded area attempting to hide from the officers.
The vehicle had been previously reported stolen from the Pictou County area.
A 22-year-old male from Dartmouth and a 23- year -old female from Dartmouth were arrested at the scene.
The male was remanded on charges of possession of a stolen vehicle and breach of court conditions.
