NS SPCA Adoptable Highlight- Mason
Meet Sir Mason, he is a 5 year old boy looking for his furever home. He is currently in foster awaiting his new family, and here is what his foster had to say about him.
Mason is happiest being alone together. He will curl up by you, on a favorite blanket, the corner of your bed, a window perch or in a safe cozy shelter, and purr himself to sleep. He loves cuddles, pets and scratches (especially under his chin), but lets you know as soon as he wants you to stop, with a paw or a nip (usually quite soon). Mason is extremely playful, and loves to hunt from under doors and under light blankets. He will make you laugh with his antics!
He is currently on a steroid call Prednisolone and will need to continue long term through your local veterinarian.
Mason would be best suited for a quiet home, especially with someone at home often. He is very food driven, and is best behaved with consistent smaller meals (4×/day). Mason is a fiercely independent, but codependent companion.
