Upcoming mobile primary care clinics for Central Zone
Nova Scotia Health has an upcoming mobile primary care clinic for the public this weekend in the Central Zone:
6960 Mumford Road (near Shoppers Drug Mart)
- Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.
- Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4:20 p.m.
This is a temporary service to provide an appropriate primary care setting for an increased number of people experiencing mild or moderate health concerns.
Note: Please come to the site in person to be seen or receive an appointment time. Depending on wait times, you may be able leave and return for your appointment. Please speak to clinic staff about this option.
Upon arrival, you will be asked the reason for your visit to ensure we are able to treat your concern. If yes, you will be screened for COVID-19 prior to receiving your appointment time. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we aim to provide you with the best possible care.
The clinic can only address non-urgent, low-acuity health issues and is not an emergency service. See a list of types of concerns below if you are not sure where to go.
Care at the clinic will be provided using a team approach, which includes nurse practitioners and family physicians.
