Special weather statement in effect
Significant snowfall is expected on Friday.
Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm.
Locations: Halifax, Hants, Kings, Annapolis and Digby counties.
Time span: Friday morning through Friday evening.
Remarks: What will likely be the first significant snowfall of the winter for parts of western Nova Scotia is expected on Friday, with the above areas expected to see at least 10 cm of snowfall. Snowfall warnings are in effect for the South Shore where higher amounts are expected.
