**** Truro Police Release
Yesterday the Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division with assistance from Truro Police Patrol, and Truro Police K9 unit executed a search warrant and an address on Willow Lane in Truro.
Simultaneously, a search warrant was executed by the Colchester County District RCMP in Greenfield, Colchester County relating to the above investigation.
A substantial amount of cocaine, firearms including long guns and handguns, and property related to the offence were seized by police. This included a truck, side by side ATV, and an RV.
This combined investigation resulted in the arrest of a 27 year old Andrew Colborne from Truro being charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in a controlled substance.
This matter remains under investigation and more charges are expected.
