The theft of even one road sign can have a deadly consequence for a road user. And it’s a crime.

In the past few weeks, Meteghan RCMP have received complaints of approximately 15 road signs being stolen.

If found tampering with, or removing, provincial signs, you can face theft charges. If found in possession of the signs, you can face charges of possession of stolen property.
