Police are no longer on scene in relation to a person barricaded in an apartment on Victoria Road in Halifax. The incident has been resolved and the investigation is ongoing.
We thank citizens for their cooperation in allowing officers to conduct the investigation.

Police are on scene in relation to a person barricaded in an apartment on Victoria Road in Halifax. Officers were at the location regarding an ongoing investigation. There is no threat to public safety at this time.
We are asking the public to remain away from the area as the police operation continues.
