Police Investigate Break & Enter – Halifax

At 12:51 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter in progress in the 6200 block of North Street, Halifax. ​ The caller reported waking up to find an unknown male in the residence stealing items.​ The male left on foot in an unknown direction.​ Patrol officers and a Police Service Dog searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.​ No one was injured.​ The suspect is described as:​

Suspect – Unknown ethnicity, dark complexion male, 5’10”, slender build, wearing a long black jacket and hat.​ Carrying a black bookbag.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.​
