Police issue 77 tickets for speeding and other vehicle-related offences
This week the Halifax Regional Police Traffic Unit issued 77 tickets in relation to speeding and other motor vehicle-related offences.
Monday to Wednesday members of the HRP Traffic Unit issued 77 summary offence tickets: 37 for speeding, 16 for no insurance and 24 for other offences including using a cell phone while driving, operating an unregistered vehicle, turning where prohibited and failing to obey traffic signs.
We all have a role to play in keeping our roads safe. If you see someone driving dangerously, report it to police by calling 911.
