Kings District RCMP investigating serious collision
Kings District RCMP is investigating a serious collision that occurred on Gospel Rd. in Glenmont.
On July 8, at approximately 6:30 p.m., Kings District RCMP, fire and EHS responded to a two-vehicle collision on Gospel Rd in Glenmont. RCMP officers learned that a Honda Civic was travelling south on Baxters Harbour Rd. and a Nissan Rogue was travelling east on Gospel Rd. when they collided at the intersection.
The driver of the Honda Civic, a 20-year-old woman from Kentville, suffered critical injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS. The passenger of the vehicle, a 24-year-old man from Brooklyn, suffered life threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital by LifeFlight.
The driver of the Nissan Rogue, a 24-year-old woman from Sheffield Mills, suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital by EHS.
A collision reconstructionist attended and the investigation is ongoing.
Gospel Rd. was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
