Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth this afternoon.

At approximately 12:25 p.m. police responded to a robbery that occurred at the Dollarama at 650 Portland Street. A male youth entered the store, stole a knife, and threatened a staff member with the knife demanding her phone. The suspect then fled the store on foot. The employee was not physically injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately fourteen with a right black eye. He was wearing a burgundy hoodie and grey sweatpants.
