The Truro Police Service has charged Vincent Curtis Ross, a 28 year-old male from New Brunswick, with several offences related to the sexual assault of a person under the age of 16.

Vincent Curtis Ross from Saint Louis De Kent, NB, met the youth through social media. The sexual assault happened when Mr. Ross came to Truro and brought the victim to a local hotel.

With the assistance of the New Brunswick RCMP, Mr. Ross was arrested in Richibucto, NB. Officers from the Truro Police Service travelled to New Brunswick and at this time, Truro Police have released Mr. Ross on the condition he appear in Truro Provincial Court in May.
