Update:

The Truro Police Service has identified the male found unresponsive yesterday, March 8th, in a parking lot located in the west end of Truro. The deceased is Michael Steven Rogers, 35 years old, of Pictou County. Police have notified the family of Mr. Rogers.

At this time, the investigation has not revealed any evidence of foul play or criminality.

 

Truro Police and Nova Scotia Medical Examiners Office Investigate Unresponsive Male Incident

This morning, March 8th, at 7:10 am, the Truro Police Service responded to a call regarding an unresponsive male located at the rear of a parking lot in the west end of Truro.

With assistance from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiners Office, patrol officers, the Truro Police Service Criminal Investigation Division, and the Truro Police Service Forensic Identification Section are currently investigating.

Further information will be released as it becomes available.
