New Glasgow Regional Police charge a 37-year-old-male after motor vehicle collision

 

New Glasgow Regional Police after responded to a two-vehicle collision on February 26 at 7:30 a.m., at the intersection of High Street and Bernard Street, New Glasgow.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla fled the scene on foot and was later located by police and was charged with:
CC 320.13(1) Dangerous operation of motor vehicle;
CC 320.16(1) Failure to stop after accident.

He was released from custody on an Undertaking and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court at a later date.
Both vehicles a Ford Escape and a Toyota Corolla sustained extensive damages and had to be towed from the scene.
No major injuries reported.
New Glasgow Regional Police continue to investigate.
