Halifax Regional Police is advising the public of an error in a recent news release sent on the evening of February 14 at 6:55 p.m.
The release erroneously noted that a missing 31-year-old man who was reported missing earlier had passed away in a medical facility. We have now received confirmation that the man is alive and receiving treatment in a hospital.
We sincerely apologize for this error that resulted from a miscommunication in the relay of the information.
