HRP investigate stabbing in Dartmouth

At 2:41 p.m. patrol members responded to a residence in the 0-100 block of Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth for a report of a man that was stabbed. It is believed that after a short verbal argument, the victim, in his 20’s was stabbed with an edged weapon.

Police were able to locate the suspect who is in police custody at this time. The victim was transported to the QE2 hospital with what is believed to be serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

There is currently no ongoing risk to the public.
