NS SPCA Adoptable Highlight – Keeta
“This lovely lady gets so excited to see her humans, that she shows you the biggest smile when you walk in the room! Keeta wants nothing more than to be with with her people and accept all of the pets and bum scritches. With the weather turning colder, Keeta serves as a great heating source and snuggle buddy for those chilly nights.
Keeta has shown us signs of resource guarding. This is a manageable behavior but it is a good idea to research the subject to see if she is a goof fit for you. Her previous home never saw this while she was in their care.
Keeta had major orthopedic surgery on Nov 23 (TPLO) so will require a very specific rehab regiment for the next several weeks. Information and support will be given in advance to taking her home. It is important to note, that Keeta is unable to do stairs at this point in her recovery.
This beautiful pup needs a home with no other animals and with adults only due to the possibility of resource guarding in the home.
