UPDATE: RCMP asking for information related to fish plant fire

RCMP are asking the public for information about a fire that occurred on November 25 at a commercial fish plant in New Edinburgh.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. on November 25, Meteghan RCMP was dispatched to a report of a fire at a commercial fish plant on Riverside Rd. in New Edinburgh. Multiple detachments and several local volunteer fire departments attended the scene. The fire was extinguished shortly before 3 a.m. and the building was completely destroyed.

Police are now asking that anyone who was in the New Edinburgh area the night of the fire, or anyone with information on this incident, to contact the Meteghan RCMP at 902-645-2326.
