Police charge man in stabbing
Halifax Regional Police have charged a man in relation to a stabbing that occurred this weekend in Halifax.
On November 27 at approximately 10:50 p.m. officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1000 block of Brunswick Street. Responding officers located a 24-year-old man who had been stabbed. He was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man in the area. Ronald Kevin Belong is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, possession of a dangerous weapon and resist/obstruct police.
