“MARS received a call on our hotline regarding a stranded common dolphin in Eastern Passage, NS.
Unfortunately, the animal passed away shortly after MARS Responders arrived on the scene. We were able to collect it for necropsy, to hopefully learn more about the health of this animal and try to determine the cause of death.
A big thank you to the callers who reported the stranded dolphin to our hotline, as well as the RCMP for assistance with this incident.
