Dartmouth General Hospital’s drive-through vaccine clinic open to drop-ins July 31
Nova Scotia Health’s drive-through, community vaccine clinic at Dartmouth General Hospital will be adding drop-in availability as of Saturday, July 31 to allow residents easier access to the COVID-19 vaccine.
Any eligible residents and nearby community members (ages 12+) can drop in starting Saturday to receive their first or second dose.
Drop-ins will be available on the following dates and times:
Dartmouth General Hospital drive-through community vaccine clinic (age 12+)
7 Mount Hope Avenue (behind Dartmouth General Hospital)
Open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pfizer vaccine will be available from July 31 to August 22
Moderna vaccine will be available from July 31 to August 6
Community members are still able to book an appointment for this location if they wish by going online at http://www.novascotia.ca/vaccination or by phone at 1-833-797-7772.
Community members will be asked to provide their health card number and ID at the vaccine clinic.
For those with mobility challenges, special needs, and/or have significant anxiety about needles, please notify clinic team members on-site upon arrival. Having this information in advance helps the clinic team better prepare to offer support.
All eligible Nova Scotians are encouraged to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible.
