Water Distribution System Flushing Update
Halifax Water crews are resuming water distribution system flushing in the areas highlighted on the attached map, beginning at 10:00 PM on Sunday, June 13, and continuing each day from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. This flushing work will take approximately one week to complete. We will send updates as flushing activities are completed in each area.
As a result of this water distribution system maintenance, some customers in or near the flushing areas may experience temporarily discoloured water or low water pressure.
If you experience discoloured water, please report it using the form at: www.halifaxwater.ca/discoloured-water. Information on what to do if your water is discoloured is also available on this page.
Residents can check the attached maps or the online interactive map at: www.halifaxwater.ca/notice/2021-water-distribution-system-flushing to see if they are in or near the potentially impacted areas. Impacted residents can also sign up for email updates on this page.
There will be no traffic impacts.
