Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Bedford​

At approximately 11:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots with a male on injured in at the intersection of Broad Street and Farrington Way, Bedford.​

Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.

​A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9 and members of the Emergency Response Team.​

There is no suspect description at this time.​ We ask that people avoid the area.​ The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.​

Traffic Blocked: Farrington Way is blocked to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.​
