Police Investigate Weapons Call (Shooting) – Bedford
At approximately 11:00 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of gun shots with a male on injured in at the intersection of Broad Street and Farrington Way, Bedford.
Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9 and members of the Emergency Response Team.
There is no suspect description at this time. We ask that people avoid the area. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information will be released when available.
Traffic Blocked: Farrington Way is blocked to all vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
