Police Arrest suspect on Warrant of Arrest, in possession of a firearm and drugs – Dartmouth

At 2:42 p.m., The Halifax Regional Police and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Integrated Drug Unit were searching for an adult male Wanted on a Warrant of Arrest.​

 

Officers observed the male enter a vehicle and then conducted a traffic stop in the 0-100 block of Wentworth Street Dartmouth.​ Officers arrested a 29-year-old male without incident.​ Incidental to arrest officers located a loaded firearm and narcotics believed to be Cocaine in his possession.​ Officers have secured a residence in the 0-100 block of Wentworth Street Dartmouth for a Controlled Substances and Drugs Act Search Warrant.​ Investigators the Integrated Drug Unit are conducting the investigation, which is ongoing.

The 29-year-old male is being held for court and is facing; Firearms Related charges and Controlled Substances and Drugs Act charges.
