Update : A 57-year-old man from Lower Barneys River who was reported missing yesterday has been found deceased.
The death is not believed to be suspicious in nature; however, the investigation is ongoing.
Missing person: Help the RCMP find Kevin Gerard MacDonald
Pictou District RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating 57-year-old Kevin Gerard MacDonald, who was last seen on Sunday, March 28, at approximately 2 p.m. in Lower Barneys River.
Kevin Gerard MacDonald is described as being Caucasian, 5-foot-5, approximately 210 pounds, with short grey hair and blue eyes. MacDonald was last seen wearing a dark sweater and jeans. It is believed that MacDonald is driving a grey 2006 Subaru Forrester with Nova Scotia license plate FPG599.
When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.
