Nova Scotia Health to participate in national Wear Red Canada event to raise awareness about women’s heart health​
On Saturday, Feb. 13 Canadians are invited to wear red in recognition of the national Wear Red Canada campaign aimed at raising awareness about women’s heart health.​
To celebrate this national event and learn more about women’s heart health issues, the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Alliance and the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre are hosting a series of free, virtual events.​
Experts around the country will gather to give presentations about women’s heart health, including Nova Scotia Health’s Acquired Brain Injury team and local celebrities’ four-time LPGA Tour winner, Lorie Kane and Canadian opera singer, Measha Bruegergossman.​
Nova Scotia’s presentation, The Atlantic Provinces Present: COVID Impact on Mental Health and Cardiovascular Disease will take place at 2:30 AST
