Cumberland County District RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft of firearms that occurred at a home on South St. in Springhill.

Sometime between January 16 and 11 a.m. on January 23, the suspect(s) entered the home, broke into a gun safe and left with three firearms. One of the firearms was recovered by the Amherst Police Department on January 23. The two other firearms have not been located. They are described as a 7mm-08 Savage Bolt Action Rifle and a 12 gauge shotgun.
