Halifax Regional Police responded for a possible weapons matter in Dartmouth
Just after 2:10 PM on this date, a member of the public traveling towards Halifax on the 111 Highway in Darmouth reported seeing two black cars traveling next to each other. It was reported that an individual from one vehilce appeared to have discharged a firearm at the other vehilce, possibly striking it.
Both vehicles were last seen on the Mackay bridge traveling into Halifax.
There are no reported injuries at this time and police are onscene searching for the vehilces and their occupants.
There is no ongoing risk to the public.
The investigstion is in it’s preliminary stages and further information will be released if and when available.
